U11 Orange wins Championship

at Disney's Shootout

On Memorial Day, FBS had an exciting weekend at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando with various teams doing an excellent job during the competition. We feel extremely proud of our teams the excelled and achieve great titles in the event. Our U11 Orange won the championship while the U13 and U14 also reached the finals and finished as semifinalists. Disney Memorial Day Soccer Shootout attracted more than 650 teams that resulted in more than 1,100 soccer matches in just three days. Congratulations to all the teams that participated in this pretigious tournament.

Leon, Isaac, and Devon

invited to U.S. Soccer Training

Our players from U14, Leon Sion and Isaac Manelis along with Devin Derival from U15, were invited to participate yesterday at the U.S. Soccer training camp in Davie, Florida. They were selected as our embassadors due to their excellent performance, hard training, and commitment to our program. We would like to applaud their efforts and look forward for more players to be part of this great experience.

Holiday Donations and Gift Exchange

This week we had and amazing activity and camaraderie by having a gift exchange between our player and coaches. Our kids had an fantastic time opening their gifts and laughing among them. Also, We had Donation activities with JAFCO, the Kosher food bank and Yeruham, Israel. JAFCO is a non profit organization serving abused and neglected children in the South Florida community since 1992. JAFCO provides programs including. Foster care, Adoption, Family Preservation, Mentoring and Independent Living.

FBS-FC Honors Victims of

Chapecoense Plane Crash

Yesterday morning, FBS-FC dedicated a minute of silence prior to the training sessions in honor of the Chapecoense Plane Crash victims. The plane was carrying the Chapecoense Brazilian Team to the final of the Copa Sudamericana, were they were due to face Colombian Team Atlético Nacional. The thoughts and prayers of everyone at FBS-FC are with Chapecoense Real and all those affected by the tragedy. STRONGER TOGETHER.

The 2016 FBS-FC Soccer Camp has been of great success. This year, the camp is being held at the Hillel School campus which is a State-of-the-art facility with all type of accomodations to provide the best experience for the campers. The kids have been able to practice soccer at its best by improving their craft and skills with great coaches and by experiencing soccer at different levels. As part of our innovative process, this year FBF-FC presents other areas of soccer that were not available in previous camps. Along with our standard soccer field training, this camp also introduces indoor futsal and beach soccer training. FBS-FC is very excited with everything that has been achieved and proud of everyone attending our program.

FBS shines at the ADIDAS

Super Cup

The ADIDAS South Florida Super Cup was held this passed Labor Day weekend and FBS had an outstanding participation. The tournament was a great opportunity for our club to show off their had work and dedication. With more than 125 teams registered from all throughout South Florida, the Super Cup brought great competition and exposure for our future star athletes. We would like to give special recognition to our U10 Orange and U12 Charcoal for winning as champions in the tournament in each of their categories, Way to go Champs! 

The FBS family feels very proud of this achievement and we look forward to seeing more winners in the upcoming competitions.

U10 and U12 Win the PRO AM Beach Tournament, U9 and U11 reach Finals

On March 12th & 13th, Pompano Beach hosted the PRO AM Beach Soccer Tournament and our teams had an outstanding ferformance in the competition. Four of our teams went to the finals where the U10 and U12 won and U9 and U11 ended as finalists. This was a great competition held in a historic location, with beautiful views and lots of action. U10 White and U11 Teal - Winners

at West Pines Classic Kickoff

The 20th Annual West Pines Classic Kickoff was played this past weekend in the cities of West Pines and Plantation, Florida. This event has become one of the most competitive tournaments by bringing a great variety of teams from region III and beyond. Our club is extremely proud of the U10 White and U11 Teal for being 2 of the champions in this competition. Congratulations to both teams for their excellent participation and we look forward to have more winners in the upcoming events.

FBS reached finals with 4 teams at Adidas Super Cup

FBS had a great start to the season on the weekend of Labor Day, by participating in the Adidas Super Cup. Four of our teams reached the finals with two teams ending as champs. Congratulations to all the teams that participated, specially U11 and U14 for being finalist and U9 and U15 for winning in this tournament. 

U7 Orange and U7 Charcoal Receive Throphies in Men's League

U7 Orange and U7 Charcoal receive their trophies in their final game of the regular season in the men’s soccer league. They had an excellent participation in the league of North East Miami which includes Hollywood and Miami Beach. Both teams developed their skills and progressed in the overall game while having fun and enjoying soccer. Congrats!

U9 Teal, U9 White, & U11 Teal, Champions at Wellington Shootout

This passed weekend, FBS participated in the Wellington Soccer Shootout tournament at the city of Wellington, Florida. The tournament was filled with excitement with over 250 teams attending the competition. Fourteen of our teams entered the tournament and seven teams were able to advance to the finals. We feel extremely proud as 3 of our teams crowned themselves as champions bringing home the gold medals and a great achievement to the entire club. Thank you to all the teams that participated and special recognition to U9 Teal, U9 White, and U11 Teal for their victories, Congratulations!

Last week, FBS-FC had the privilege to face a friendly match with the Bahamas Beach Soccer National Team. The event took place at Haulover Beach Park in North Miami, Florida and the game helped the Bahamians as they prepare to host the next Beach Soccer World Cup in 2017. After the game, kids had the opportunity to get autographs from the professional players of Bahamas, they also took pictures and receive great coaching from the players. The FBS-FC Pro Team was honored to have the presence and support of all the kids and parents who attended the game and we look forward to keep engaging everyone in these great events. 

FBS-FC VS USA Video Highlights

On Sunday July 17, the USA Beach Soccer Team visited Ft. lauderdale and played versus FBS-FC as part of their preparation for the ninth edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup to be hosted in Bahamas in 2017. FBS-FC would like to thank everyone who attended and supported this great event.

Fundraising Giveaway

This week, FBS players were accompanied by our soccer Chairperson, Mimi Kiblisky, to giveaway a fundraising check to the JCC for our brothers and sisters in Yeruham, Israel. The donation was granted to the President by our young player Davinchi in representation of those who participated in the Challah Bake event.

Devin & Isaac called to U.S. SOCCER Camp

U.S. SOCCER will be hosting a special training camp for young soccer players. We would like to congratulate Devin and Isaac for being invited to participate in this great event. Devin is part of our U13 and this is his second participation. Isaac is part of the U12 and this is his firts participation.

U15 Champions of SFUYSA League

For the first time in our FBS / MAR-JCC history one of our teams, the U15 won the regular season playoffs of the most prestigious league in the Tri-County area, the SFUYSA league. This a great achievement to our club and are extremely proud of this excellent team. At the same time, our U14 made it to the finals and finished as semifinalists in a disputed penalty shootout. Congratulations to both teams!

U12 Orange Semifinalists at Hollywood 5V5

The 2016 Hollywood Cup 5v5 Shootout was played last week in Hollywood, Florida. The Cup had 100 teams participating with 49 boys teams and 51 girls teams. This tournament is very competitive and we want to applaud our U12 Orange as they made it all the way to the finals among so many participating clubs. Congratulations and keep up the hard work.

Francis Farberoff Named Assistant Coach 

For U.S. National Beach

Soccer Team

FBS-FC soccer director, Francis Farberoff, was recently named as the  Assistant Coach for the U.S. National Beach Soccer Team. He will start working with the team as they prepare to qualify for the 2017 World Cup hosted in Bahamas. Francis is the former captain of this team and represented U.S. in four World Cups. His experience will be a great asset to the organization and we look forward to his success in this new journey.

Devin Derival called to U.S. SOCCER Camp

On Monday February 8, 2016, the U.S. SOCCER will be hosting a special training camp for young soccer players. We would like to congratulate our own Devin Derival for being invited to this initiative that emphasizes to allocate players in special teams. Devin is part of our U13 and his participation is important for future inclusions for national team programs. 

The FBS family is very proud of Devin's achievement and we wish him the best of luck.

FBS Shines at United Cup

It was an exciting weekend in plantation. The United Cup Tournament was our second challenge of the year this weekend of September 3-5, 2016. All FBSFC Teams stepped up and show their progress playing the game we love. 5 out of 10 teams participating made the finals and four of them won the championship. We are so proud of all our teams. We would like to give special recognition to our finalist U14 and our Champions U9 Orange, U11 Teal, U12 Charcoal and U13.

Congratulation to all our teams who participated. Keep working hard.

Futsal Jamboree at MAR-JCC

On April 3, 2016, FBS held the 11th Futsal Jamboree at the MAR-JCC gymnasium. Futsal is a sport discipline derivated from soccer, where players learn how to dribble in tight spaces and also make quick decisions during the game. The event was a great success and the kids had a great time playing and experiencing the game of Futsal.

FBS Pro Team Edged a Thrilling Final

at Virginia Beach

Our FBS Pro Team reached the finals at the North American Sand Soccer Championships on Sunday with a dramatic sudden death penalty dispute with Team PUGG. The finale offered a fitting end to a thrilling few days of beach soccer action that saw impressive crowds flock to Oceanfront for both the U.S. Open as well as dozens of other male and female events across various age groups. PUGG were actually beaten by FBS in the group stage but were able to win the title by penalties. Congratulations to our Pro Team for their excellent performance. U13 and U15 Champions of Region A Cup

FBSFC would like to congratulate the U13 and U15 for winning at the Region A Cup. For our U13, this is a great accomplishment as they prepare for the President's Cup. And for the U15, this marks a great achievement in their process after recently winning the championship at the SFUYSA league. FBS would like to thank all the kids that attended the Fun & Game Event and participating in various activities. The event was part of our celebration for the end of season and a great opportunity to practice new soccer techniques. 

Cultural Arts Day

at Highland Oaks Elementary

On Friday March 3, FBS-FC visited Virginia A. Boone Highland Oaks Elementary School. Every year, the school promotes the Cultural Arts Day and this is the fifth consecutive year that FBS attends the event. Many of our kids were involved teaching soccer techniques and had a great time at the school. We are very happy to support this activity and look forward for more participants the next time.

In House League

All-Star Game

Last Tuesday, our In House League players had the opportunity to test themselves against one of our best travel team. We feel very proud of this group of kids because they showed great improvement and good attitude. It was a great game with lots of positive energy between players and parents. We are looking forward to see them training again to future challenges.
